Rental Terms of Agreement

• I affirm that I am at least 18 years of age.
• I am entering into this agreement with tbcOnCourse.com, a division of Texas Book Company.
• I understand that my account will be charged when my order is fulfilled.
• I agree to have a valid credit card on file with tbcOnCourse.com during the rental period.
• I will not cancel or exceed the purchasing limits of the card on file until all rented materials are either returned or the non-return fees are paid.
• I agree to return all rented materials to tbcOnCourse.com as per terms of this Agreement.
• Rented materials must be returned via the provide prepaid label by the rental return date designated by tbcOnCourse.com at the time of rental in salable condition.
• Salable condition will be determined by tbcOnCourse.com, but generally means book spine intact, no excessive damage to cover or contents, all original pages intact, all original components present, and no excessive highlighting, writing or other markings. Limited highlighting and writing is permitted.
• Rented materials not returned by the rental return date or not in salable condition will be subject to non-return fees.
• Non-return fees will be automatically charged to the credit card on file for this Agreement as follows for each item of Rented Material: 75% of the new book price, plus a processing fee of 7.5% of the new book price.
• In the event that tbcOnCourse.com is unable to charge the credit card on file for this Agreement, tbcOnCourse.com will bill me for, and I agree to promptly pay in full, all outstanding charges.
• tbcOnCourse.com is not responsible for reminding me of the rental return date. Any and all notifications are a courtesy. I am responsible for complying with the rental return date.
• I understand that I will be held responsible for loss or theft of all rented materials. Standard state and local tax rates apply.
